De Bruyne Signs New Five-Year Deal At Man City Until 2023

Manchester City have announced that their big star, Kevin de Bruyne, has signed a new deal at the Etihad Stadium.
The Belgian has put pen to paper on a 5-year-deal, which means he'll be tied to the English Premier League leaders until the summer of 2023.
“As I’ve said previously, my intention has always been to stay here at City, where I’ve felt at home from day one," De Bruyne told on the official club site.

“Not only are we winning – we are playing great football. It’s a pleasure to be a part of and I’m really excited about what we can achieve in the coming years.”
City's Director of Football Txiki Begiristain said:
"Kevin’s new deal is great news for our club. He has shown this season how important he is to the team and has been integral in everything we’ve done so far. We are thrilled he has committed his long-term future to Manchester City.”
The Belgian joined City from Wolfsburg in 2015 for a fee of £55million (N26bn), and since then has made 122 appearances during which he has scored 31 goals.

This season alone the 26-year-old has scored six times, assisting ten others.
