I said 'Nothing' To Convince Alexis To Join Man United - Mourinho

Jose Mourinho claims he did not need to say anything to Alexis Sanchez in order to convince him to swap Arsenal for Manchester United.
Alexis completed his move to Old Trafford on Monday in a straight swap deal with Arsenal that saw £35million (N16.8bn)-rated midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan head in the opposite direction.

Sanchez said after signing that he could not turn down the chance to "join the biggest club in the world", and cited working with Mourinho as another draw.

However, when Mourinho was asked by reporters what he said in order to ensure Sanchez made the move to Old Trafford, the Portuguese coach simply replied:
"Nothing. In the Premier League he has shown already the quality he has. We got one of the best attacking players in the world.
Jose Mourinho
"I think he's very important for us because we want to have the best possible players.

"Our careers are almost made in the same countries simultaneously, so I know him very, very well.

"I saw him play on the right, on the left, as a striker and behind the striker, these are Alexis' positions.

"I saw him play in different tactical systems, with different philosophies of different managers, I saw him (be) successful in every country, with every manager, with every system, in every position."
