Injured Kwara United Player And Official Leave Hospital

The president of Kwara United Ladi Thompson said on Thursday Stephen Alfred and the Welfare Officer of the club Lukman Ijaya, who were hospitalised after the Ilorin team’s auto crash in Moniya, Ibadan, on Wednesday had been discharged from hospital.
Thomspon said: “They are all fine now. They have been discharged except one person – the cameraman. He has a cut on the head. That is the only one remaining at the hospital.

“The accident will not affect their chances of playing in the forthcoming games.

“The government has been making a lot of efforts. They have been giving assistance and support.

“The fans visited them at the hospital, they are aware of the development. All the stakeholders are aware of what is going on.

“The fans came for the unveiling ceremony (of 17 new players) today. We were all together. We are on the same page. They have no cause to worry about the performance of the team.”
