It's Not My Job To Keep Hazard Happy,' Says Chelsea Boss

Antonio Conte has said it isn't his job to keep Chelsea star Eden Hazard happy.
The 27-year-old is Real Madrid's number one transfer target, but he recently vowed to sign a new contract with the Blues to fend off a move from the La Liga giants.

A preseason ankle injury has seemingly caught up with the Belgian as he has completed the full 90 minutes just once in his last eight appearances.
"It's normal that one player can't keep always top of the form," said Conte ahead of the Blues FA Cup third-round replay with Norwich City on Wednesday.

"But, like the others, my task is to try and improve him and try and put him in the best physical condition to take the best decision for the team during games.

"Not only for him, but for every single player."

The Italian added: "I am the coach. I decide. It's not important if one player is happy or not.

"My first task is to do the best for the team and the club. Not to make every player happy. Otherwise we'd risk finishing 20th in the table.

"There is always this question about whether I'm worried about making my players happy. No. I'm worried to win."
