Kane, Guardiola And Defoe Win EPL Awards For December

Pep Guardiola, Harry Kane and Jermaine Defoe were all named monthly award winners for the month of December.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has set a English Premier League record by being the first coach ever to be named manager of the month for the fourth consecutive time whiles Tottenham Hostpurs attacker, Harry Kane and Bournemouth's Jermaine Defoe snatched the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards respectively.

Guardiola, 46-year-old Spanish national, was named winner of December’s manager of the month award as his side produced six league wins and a draw – he had already won the award in September, October and November, making him the first manager in the history of the English Premier League to have done so.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte won the award three times in a row in 2016 and Pep just made the record better.
Tottenham's Harry Kane is the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for December
Meanwhile, Spurs center forward, Harry Kane was player of the month for December to equal ex-Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard’s record of winning the award six times.

Harry Kane, 24, scored twice against Stoke, before getting back-to-back hat-tricks against Burnley and Southampton as he broke Alan Shearer's record for the most Premier League goals in a calendar year.

Also, Bournemouth striker Jermaine Defoe nabbed the EPL goal of the month for his second goal at Selhurst Park.
Defoe's goal came in a game where Christian Benteke missed a 93rd-minute penalty as Palace were held to a dramatic 2-2 draw by Bournemouth.

Defoe's equaliser came after the break with a stunning looped half-volley from an acute angle after Lewis Cook's long ball.
