Man Extend Contracts Of Four Players

Manchester United have extended the contracts of Juan Mata, Daley Blind, Ashley Young and Ander Herrera with twelve months until the summer of 2019.
By no means this says that the future at Old Trafford for these four players is secured.

According to The Telegraph, the quartet would have run out of contract if United didn't trigger the clauses in their deals, so in this way, the club makes sure they won't leave for free.

This gives manager Jose Mourinho some time to think about their future.

It seems like Marouane Fellaini will leave The Red Devils in the summer for nothing.

The Belgian midfielder rejected a contract offer and his current deal expires in six months.

Man United could sell Fellaini this month, but Mourinho doesn't want to lose him for now.

It is likely that United will listen to offers for Daley Blind, who had very little game time in the English Premier League this season.

Juan Mata's future depends on whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be sold.
