Man United Eyeing Shock Chicharito Return - Report

English club Manchester United reportedly want to use this transfer window to sign a backup striker for Romelu Lukaku.
Jose Mourinho feels that Zlatan Ibrahimovic' injury problems left them short of back-up for the Belgian striker.

United are now considering three options from the English Premier League.

The Telegraph claims that Man United will battle local rivals Manchester City for the signature of Alexis Sanchez and that he is considered as the one that tops United's wish-list.

Man City are the favourites to sign the Arsenal ace, so there has to backup plan at Old Trafford.

An expensive alternative that The Red Devils eye is Jamie Vardie.

The Leicester City striker has a price tag of £35 million (16.8 billion naira ), but is eligible to play in the Champions League and is a guarantee for goals.

The last option would be a real shocker. Javier Hernandez can leave West Ham as David Moyes is far from impressed by the Mexican goalscorer.

Jose Mourinho is charmed by Chicarito and would love to add him to his squad this month.

The Mexican striker endured a miserable season under David Moyes during his spell with Manchester United. His form dipped dramatically under the Scottish boss.

And he was sold to Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 a year after Louis van Gaal became the manager of the Red Devils.
