Report: Man City Quit Alexis Sanchez Race After United Interest

Manchester City are thinking of walking away from a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez after Manchester United showed interest in the Chile international as well, according to The Guardian.
The Citizens were the favorites to sign the Arsenal forward and had allegedly agreed on personal terms, but after failing to agree on a transfer fee with the Gunners, Guardiola's side might walk away from a deal.

With Gabriel Jesus recovering quicker than expected, City have no urgent need to buy another striker this transfer window.

The news comes as a relief for Manchester United after reports came out earlier this week suggesting Mourinho's side had made a bid in the region of £25m (11.9 billion naira) for the attacker.
