Roma Star Wants 'Dream' Chelsea Move

The agent of Roma defender Emerson Palmieri has revealed that a move to Chelsea would be a “dream” for his client.
Antonio Conte is searching for another left wing-back with only Marcos Alonso currently available in that position and Palmieri could prove to be an affordable alternative to Juventus’ Alex Sandro, valued at £60million (N28.6bn).

The 23-year-old Palmieri is valued at roughly a third of that price and his representative confirmed in an interview with Calciomercato that it was a deal that both Chelsea and Roma were in talks over.
“Chelsea are a concrete possibility, absolutely. Now the two clubs are talking, we’ll see if they reach a positive conclusion,” Fernando Garcia said.

“Obviously, Emerson would love to play in the Premier League and it’d be a dream to work with Conte, as he is among the best coaches in the world.”
Palmieri, who switched international allegiance to Italy in in March 2017, has played just two games for Roma this season and only 15 minutes in Serie A having recovered from a cruciate knee ligament injury suffered on the final day of last season.
