Chelsea Chiefs Feel Conte Playing Media Games Over Deals

Chelsea chiefs feel Antonio Conte is playing media games over his complaints about their transfer work.
The Times says Conte is furious with Chelsea chiefs for not landing his top targets.

However, disagreements over target's ages are also a huge problem for Conte. Moves for Fernando Llorente (32) and Edin Dzeko (31), have caused rifts between Chelsea chiefs and the manager.

And directors are angry with Conte for not taking credit for signing Olivier Giroud and Emerson Palmieri, who were signed last month.

They say the pair were brought to west London on Conte's recommendations but the Italian will not publicly say he was behind the deals.

It was reported earlier that former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has already held talks with Chelsea about taking over as the club’s manager.
