Ex-Man United And City Star Tevez Injured In Prison Kickabout

Tevez is said to have torn his soleus muscle during a game of football behind bars.

Former Manchester United and City striker Carlos Tevez has sustained an injury while playing a kickabout in a prison in Argentina, according to reports from Argentina.

Tevez was allegedly visiting his half-brother Juan Alberto Martinez – who is serving a 16-year sentence for armed robbery - in a prison in Cordoba.

In what should have been a friendly match, Tevez suffered a blow to his calf that early tests suggest will rule him out of action for a month, missing four matches.

While there is no photographic evidence of the incident, Argentine newspaper Clarin have reported that his club Boca Juniors are furious with Tevez for this incredible lack of judgement on his own behalf.
