Italy Should Give Balotelli A Chance - Ranieri

Claudio Ranieri has called on Italy boss Luigi Di Biagio to give Nice striker Mario Balotelli an opportunity to again show his talent in the colours of his country.
Balotelli has not played for the Azzurri since the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

It had been suggested the former Manchester City and Liverpool striker might get a recall for this month's friendlies with Argentina and England after scoring 14 Ligue 1 Conforama goals in just 19 starts.

Di Biagio, who is in temporary charge of Italy until the end of the season, ignored Balotelli's claims, but Ranieri remains a supporter.
"In France, he makes the difference," the Nantes boss told Italian media.

"He needs a test with the Nazionale to see if the boy has matured."
