EPL Saturday: West Brom Stop Liverpool As Salah Levels Shearer, Ronaldo & Suarez’s Record; Watford Draw With Crystal Palace

Today's English Premier League round-up:
West Bromwich Albion 2 - 2 Liverpool

West Bromwich Albion fought back from 2-0 down late on to draw 2-2 against Liverpool at the Hawthorns on Saturday as Jurgen Klopp‘s men threw away three points.

Liverpool led 2-0 with goals from Danny Ings and Mohamed Salah but West Brom fought back in the final 10 minutes as Jake Livermore hooked home and Salomon Rondon equalised with a header.
And with Mo Salah's goal against the Baggies today, he has equalled Cristiano Ronaldo, Alan Shearer and Luis Suarez's record of 31 goals in a Premier League season.

Newcastle legend Shearer set the record in the 1995/96 season, before ex-United ace Ronaldo in 2007/08 and Luis Suarez for Liverpool in 2013/14.

No player in the history of the top-flight has scored more than 31 in a season, but the Reds still have three games left to play.

The draw ensures Darren Moore extends his unbeaten start in charge of West Brom but they remain bottom, eight points from safety with three games left.

Liverpool lost ground in the race for second place with the late collapse.

Watford 0 - 0 Crystal Palace
Elsewhere on Saturday, Watford and Crystal Palace each picked up a point from a nil-nil draw at Vicarage.

Palace's Wilfried Zaha was booked for diving inside the Watford penalty area.

The Eagles climb one place to 15th in the table.

Watford remain 12th, nine points clear of relegation with three games to go, although they have played more games than most teams below them.
