Ex-Tottenham Defender Kyle Walker Reveals Wish For Former Club

Kyle Walker left Tottenham last summer to move to Manchester City in search of titles and less than 12 months later, he has achieved his dream as City wrapped up the English Premier League title on Sunday.
Man United’s 1-0 defeat to West Brom on Sunday sealed the title race after Man City had beaten Tottenham 3-1 at Wembley on Saturday.

On Monday morning the Telegraph have published quotes from Man City defender Kyle.

Walker revealed he hopes Spurs have an excellent end to the 2017/18 campaign.
He said: "I won’t stand here and start slagging people off. That’s not what I’m about. I left because it was a time in my career that I needed to move on, and luckily it’s worked out.

"(Tottenham have) got Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, which is a big trophy for them. So, please God, they go and win it because their lads deserve it.

"Every single one of them works hard every day. Not just the lads but the coaching staff as well.

"For them to do that when it was a season when they were getting a lot of ifs and buts about Wembley would be very good for them."
