NFF Confirm Settlement Of Super Eagles Coaches’ Salaries...Even Till End Of World Cup

The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed it has paid the salaries of the Super Eagles coaches  up to July courtesy of the sponsorship agreement the NFF has with oil and gas outfit, Aiteo, the NFF  revealed on Wednesday. 
Gernot Rohr and his backroom staff will guide Nigeria to a sixth world cup appearance and in a bid to ensure the team is focused, the NFF say money received from its principal sponsor has enable it to “to pay all the coaches in its employ, with coaches of the Nigeria Senior Men National Team, Super Eagles, now fully paid till the end of the 2018 FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia.”

However, the NFF did not disclose how much the Franco-German and his assistants will earn in the said period.

The federation also revealed that it will start giving the less privileged football leagues, including the Nigerian National League (NNL), the Nationwide League and the Women league a grant of N200 million as support fund.
